Oliver got the pedals from Bikemag for permanent test. He did even know that he is sponsord. Can we ask dealer that we need 1 or 2 more pedals? :-)
Oliver riding for Magellan (Cseke Rt.) And they are the Ritchey dealer. So they may not happy that their rider's name used by the competition. While I can give 3 riders to test the pedals.

I see that you got a pair of Eggbeaters. I thought you would like to know a little history about them.
Crank Bros. is a little company run by 2 guys named Frank and Carl. I know them because they are local riders, because the company is in Frank's house which is at the top part of the local MTB area (Aliso Woods). I met them about 2 years ago, and got to know them, and visited their house a couple of times.
They actually make thier money as Industrial designers. They design all the scuba masks and fins for U.S. Divers. Anyways, they are hardcore riders, and Carl holds the local record for riding up "Meadows" which is a really steep climb (1800 meters of trail climbing 300 meters). I will send Feri a photos of it. Anyways, Frank and Carl are really great people and great mountain bikers. All the Crank Bros. products, they design for themselves first, and test them for a couple of months and then have them made in Taiwan.
We don't get much mud here, but everyone says they are the best mud pedal. They were actually thought up by Frank. One of the problems the SPD pedals have here, is all the trails have a very fine sand/dust on them, and it "sands" down the medal surfaces on everything - including pedal. Also, when riding here on SPD's, the bottom side of the pedal fills up with the sand/dust, and when you unclip and then clip back in on the other side of the pedal - the sand makes it hard to engage. They made the Eggbeaters to be lighter, and have fewer parts that the sand can fuck-up. Hope you like them.

He started with Schwinn. Then they quit and now Schwinn calls his line Schwinn Indoor Cycling. I hope this clear why I use Indoor Cycling. Spinning is a trade mark so I cannot put on page, can I?
So I hope nobody think that we are gay. :-)
What would be the proper word? Just stay with spinning?

Well, I want to come back in April, because my friend Robert is organizing a round of the Maxxis DH cup in Zagreb, and he wants me to help out. It really depends on business though. For sure I will show up for the Bukk marathon in June!!
Ok, sit down, a real shock - it is raining!!! Can you believe it?? The first time since the middle of December. They say we may get 2 cm of rain over the next week!! Oh my God, I am so spoiled. I averaged 5 days of riding a week (in 20oC+) all through January and till now. Now I have to start spinning again, at least for the next couple of weeks (they close the MTB park for about a week or 2, after each rain to prevent trail damage).
Like I said ? you got the beautiful Hungarian girls, but I got (had) the great weather. LOL!!!
Ok, the UCI is really angry with everyone who calls Spinning ? ?Indoor Cycling?. This is because the UCI defines ?Indoor Cycling? as: Track, Indoor Trials, Indoor MTB and Bicycle Dancing. They wrote all the UCI commissaries and told us it is a problem.
Also, the only people who refer to Spinning as ?Indoor Cycling?, happen to mostly be gay men who don?t like the female spinning instructor, and say it just to piss her off. They don?t say it to the men spinning instructors, because they are too busy taking pictures of the them with their Ericson T68i camera phones, and sending them to their friends.
Anyways, a lot of hardcore mountain bikers take spinning classes, and I will write bringabanda.hu an article about how and why.
