Már több nemzet síugróiról jelent meg összeállítása, most ért el hozzánk.

Na, ez érdekes. Ezt a nevet most hallom először. Gondolom, te tudsz róla többet. Miért pont ő ír a magyarokról?

Amikor ott voltam, szinte életveszélyes állapotban volt a mátraházai síugrósánc. Letörve vagy lemállva különböző dolgok, gerendák. Ezt még főleg fából építették. Sok pénzre és erdőirtásra lenne szükség, hogy valami ott legyen...

Aztán a normafai sáncot is újra lehetne gondolni! :)

"Az iromány végét lesokkolva és majdnem sírva olvastam: már nem lehet feltámasztani"..... pedig szerintem lehetne..... csak nem ugyanúgy csúszik a hó (ha  már esik) a lesiklóknak és az északi szakágaknak... és hiányzanak az alkalmas emberek.

Úgy 10-15 éve lehettem a családdal ennél a mátraházai síugrósáncnál. Nagyon le volt pusztulva. Szomorú is voltam emiatt!

Ennyire még nem élveztem síugrással kapcsolatos cikket! Mert ez rólunk, magyarokról szólt. Méghozzá a mátraházai legnagyobb sáncról... Az iromány végét lesokkolva és majdnem sírva olvastam: már nem lehet feltámasztani. Pedig úgy reménykedtem, hogy ha gyűjtöttek volna rá, lehet utaltam volna pénzt is! :) Legyen Eplényben női Vk műlesikló síverseny és épüljön valahol egy síugrósánc, mondjuk a Magyar Bajnokságnak vagy netán egy Európa-kupának!

Can someone help me find out the location of the ski jump in Gyöngyös? I know it was a ski jump with plastic to allow jumping in the summer. Summer competitions were held there.

Egy sánc nem sánc!

10 M Euró-val már lehetne valamit kezdeni, de alatta a mai elvárásoknak, FIS előírásoknak megfelelve nem igen.

Jó lenne, ha síugrósáncot is építenének az országban! Egy hidegebb éghajlatú területen kellene, ahol lehet hóágyúzni a pályát. Persze a téli sportok hazája nem Magyarország. Volt róla szó, hogy Eplényben rendeznének Vk-versenyt alpesi síben, a műlesikló számban! Király lenne! :D

Could you help me locate this ski jump in Lillafüred?

There is one more thing which is very interesting. In this topic I found information that in 2006 in Koszg the K70 ski jump was to be built. It was supposed to be here:

However the ski jump was not finished. Only landing area were profiled. 

But in the description of ski jump in Koszeg on www.skijumpinghills.com you can read:

"The plastic matting has remained from the 1970’s when there was a K50 hill with a wooden inrun tower only for a short time on the right side of K30 ski jump.".

I don't know if it's true. Maybe you know something about this case? 

The www.skijumpinghills.com link you put is the same, as my, but in English, I used the German version :)

Even I do not know exactly the place of Szabadsághegyi jump, but it must be near there, where the map shows, I suppose (Jánoshegy nowadays).

Not easy to find anyone, who knows something about Hungarian ski jumps, but will try.

Pécs has also some "ruins" of the former ski jump.

It says, that

"Bükkszentkereszt felé, a libegő felső állomásától délre található a műugrósánc maradványai".

This means, that direction Bükkszentkereszt south of the upper station of the lift (libegő) there are the ruins of the ski jump.

In this topic there is an other interesting post: "Bár kerítésen kívül, de a Normafánál a Vasas síház mögött ott a két kicsi kősánc (jó renoválandó, da a terep nem nagyon változott)."

It means: 2 other small jump hill ruins can be found at Normafa (Budapest) behind the Vasas Skihouse.

I have been visiting ski jumping hills since 2006, it's kind of hobby for me, until today I have visited 507 hills already. :)

Sometimes I come to a place where there are no remainings of the ski jump, but for me that is enough :)

That's why I want to exact locations of this ski jumps to explore the place when I get there :)

I think the map of Szabadsághegyi on http://www.skisprungschanzen.com/DE/Schanzen/HUN-Ungarn/Budapest/0321/#data not show the right place of ski jump.

I would be grateful if you could find out someone about locations of ski jumps in Budapest and Lillafüred. I can wait for it :)

When I was browsing this forum I found an interesting comment from 2006 concerning Hungarian ski jumps:

So I see there were even more ski jumps in Hungary. Maybe we can also establish something about others? :)

I see, you are quite a good expert already, considering Hungarian jumping hills!

Unfortunately I do not know the position of Szabadsághegyi sísánc, it is on Jánoshegy I suppose, but the former skijumpers know it exactly, some years ago the made a visit there. But as I know, practically nothing remained from it.

The same is the situation with the Lillafüred jumping hill, nothing remained, as I know. It is somewhere near the hotel, called Palota Szálló.

You should know that I am very interested in ski jumping hills. In 2017 I visited Hungary and I was in Koszeg and Matrahaza and I had the opportunity to see those ski jumping hills. In Koszeg I also talked with coach Laszlo Molnar.

In Koszeg are three ski jumps in use (K30, K20, K10). 

In Matrahaza one well-known old and destroyed K83 and smaller, natural K55.

So you say that in Lillafüred was another ski jump in Hungary? I didn't know about it. Maybe you know where exactly these ski jump were located? Or can you find it out? I would be grateful for the coordinates.

There is also issue about ski jump in Budapest. It is known that these ski jump were located on the Szabagsághegyi mountain, but that's all. Can you help me with this also maybe?
