Valery Kostikov, a KGB officer that author Michael H. B. Eddowes places at the heart of the John F. Kennedy assassination. According to Eddowes, he would have been at the heart of the conspiracy, and so was Prime Minister Nikita Krushchev. Eddowes develops this theory in 'Krushchev killed Kennedy'

In his book, Khrushchev Killed Kennedy (1975), Eddowes argued that Kennedy was killed by a Soviet agent impersonating Lee Harvey Oswald.
