"Seagate informed me that they do not make Microdrives for Digital Cameras. They said they have not released to ST1 Microdrive for sale to the public, that it does not conform to CF industry standards, and that it is designed to only work with one type of MP3 player."

Szóval a microdrive nem publikus eladásra készült, hanem egy adott típusú MP3 lejátszóhoz, és nem felel meg a CF standard követelményeknek.
