Gyűlölök ünneprontó lenni, de sajnos a "mormon" mikrofilm téma pontosításra szorul.

Úgy néz ki, hogy 1 film kb. 100 dollár és nem 10. Ráadásul csak intézményeknek, nem magánszemélyeknek, és nekik is csak akkor, ha lerendezték a dolgot az eredeti tulajdonos levéltárral, ahol van ilyen. (Pl. a német mikrofilmek szinte mind ilyenek).

Na most, én is tényleg úgy tudtam eddig, hogy egyéneknek is lehet, de ez egy mai e-mail válasz Németországból, úgyhogy akkor ez a hiteles infó. (Más kérdés, hogy ez a téma több részleget is érinthet a németországi elosztóban, így lehet, hogy más részlegnél másképpen tudják a dolgot... Egyelőre még tovább érdeklődöm.)

"The current policy regarding the purchase of microfilms produced by the Genealogical Society of Utah is that we will only consider selling microfilm to institutions, archives, and libraries and not to individuals.  In any event, libraries and archives must obtain written consent from the custodian archive, where the exposures were taken.  After that, there is a form to fill out.  The films costs about 100 dollars US each."
