The Free Binary License Program offers free licenses for customers who run the Solaris
Operating Environment on systems with a capacity of 1
CPU.

In addition to the free binary license, we are also offering Solaris 9 downloads for free. The
$20 charge for Solaris 8 downloads is to cover
costs associated with providing downloads via the web. For our
customers' convenience, we decided to keep Solaris 8 available for a
small fee and absorb all download related costs for Solaris 9 downloads.
