This might be the most eagerly anticipated Suns game of the entire 2001-02 home slate. In fact, this game was sold out months ago. Former Chicago Bulls legend and current Washington Wizard guard Michael Jordan will be making his first appearance at America West Arena since Nov. 20, 1997. In his first meeting against Phoenix last month in a Wizards uniform, his “Airness” showed no rust against the Suns in ripping off 41 points in an easy Washington victory.
