If they had raised the veil of partiality for one second and re-read the article surely they could have deduced that the 4500 watt drain on the batteries referred to the actual power consumed by the invention to supply a consumable surplus, -- part of this consumable surplus powered the bulbs to facilitate photographic illustration.
