The impact site was patrolled by a Turkish Akinci UAV , and the Turks even temporarily reserved a section of airspace in the Black Sea for the tests .
It's worth remembering that the Turks recently conducted a series of test flights of the HAVA SOJ SIGINT and EW aircraft in roughly the same area in anticipation of and after the Ukrainian UAV raids on southern Russia.

Therefore, it is highly likely that the current tests were aimed, among other things, at monitoring the behavior of Russian air defense systems. Especially since the Akinci UAV patrolling the impact area is equipped with a synthetic radar capable of tracking ground targets hundreds of kilometers away.
