Ennek angol nyelvű összefoglalójából:

 

"The designated borders of their territory are commensurate with the density of Khazar burials in burial-mounds. All these data point to the fact that the core territories of the Khaganate in the IX-th c. were the lower reaches of the Don."

 

Azaz a 9. században a kazárok magterülete a Don alsó folyása mentén volt.

 

 

Ide nem jöhettek "hódító" besenyők.
