Nem az a lényeg, hanem ez: "In the decade leading up to 2001, the number of prescriptions for antidepressants went up from nine million per year to 24 million per year, says the paper."
Tehát azóta is nőhetett a fogyasztás, mondjuk 25 millióra. Egy felírás az egy-két doboz/10 szem (valaki megmondhatná, mennyi, mert ilyen adatot nem találtam). Azaz Angliában kb. 250 és 500 millió olyan emberi pillanat van, amikor antidepresszánsra van szükség...
Jó ez a kapitalizmus, mi? Még szerencse, hogy már nem tart soká... ;)

Egy népszerű nyugtató nyomait fedezte fel a brit környezetvédelmi hatóság az ország ivóvízkészletében. A hatóság szerint olyan sokan használják a gyógyszert, hogy az már kimutatható mennyiségben megjelent a talajvízben és a folyókban. A brit kormány jelenleg vizsgálja, hogy a szennyezett ivóvíz milyen hatással lehet az emberek egészségére."
