Vocalist Carol Cass was born in Boston, Massachusetts, to a family active in music and the arts. Carol's mother enrolled her daughter in singing, dancing and acting lessons at a very early age, and by her teens, Carol was studying at the Actors' Workshop, and at the New England Conservatory of Music. Early gigs included a featured spot in a concert at the John Hancock Hall in Boston.
After graduation, Carol joined Bobby Duke and The Counts, a rhythm and blues band, touring with them for three years until commencing her solo career, which has taken her all over the world.
Carol Cass' repertoire includes jazz classics, blues, rock and gospel, and her voice has been compared to a wide range of jazz vocalists from Ella Fitzgerald to Carmen McRae.

A híres new york-i Cotton Club Budapesten is megnyitotta "leányvállalatát" a Jókai u. 26. alatt. Minden vasárnap és kedd este Carol, a new york-i klub csillaga lép fel. Most voltam a megnyitón, és elkeserített a csekély érdeklődés, úgyhogy az énekesnő sem indult be igazán. Még így is fantasztikus élményben volt részünk.
