Na sztrájk idejére megnyílik ez!

Rexach
“We’ve got to be realistic and admit that this result makes things very difficult for us now. However, there are always upsets in football and anything is possible. We’ll go into the game in Madrid with the intention of controlling possession and keeping our cool. We’ve got to keep hoping that we can get to Glasgow.”
“We dominated the game in the first half and we won a lot of ball and kept up the pressure on them, but Madrid have a lot of quality and they can always get a goal. After their first goal, we started to rush things a bit and we lost a bit of our shape. The second goal came after they’d robbed a ball off us in our half and that just shows that you can’t let your guard down in a game like this.”
Köcsög,undorító pavon,rúgdossa a (szerintem) meccs legjobbját!
Unlucky Barca fall to madrid
Barca’s chances of making the Champions League final in Glasgow suffered a serious blow here at the Nou Camp when two second half goals from Zidane and McManaman gave Real Madrid a 0-2 win. Barca looked the more dangerous team in the first half, but the chances just wouldn’t go in as Cesar and the woodwork kept the scores at 0-0 at half time. When Zidane combined with Raul to score on the break after 54 minutes, Rexach was forced to open up the game and Madrid took advantage by hitting Barca on the break and McManaman finished off the game in injury time. There’s a lot to be done next week in the Bernabeu if Barca are to turn the tie around, but if they can show the strength and courage they did tonight they could give their fans at least a glimmer of hope.
Rexach left Coco on the bench and plumped for a three man defence, with Motta, Luis Enrique, Cocu and Rochemback in the middle and Kliuvert, Saviola and Overmars up front. The manager’s attacking tactics were soon paying off as Barca opened up the Madrid defence and Kluivert came close before Luis Enrique headed a corner onto the bar in the 12th minute. Madrid were finding it difficult to put their passing game together under pressure from the Barca midfield, especially Cocu and Rochemback and they were constantly on the back foot as Overmars and Saviola in particular looked dangerous. Just as the half was finishing, Rochemback had one last chance as he worked his way through the centre of the defence, only for Cesar to make a brave save at his feet.
After the break things looked like they might continue the same way as Luis Enrique went close in the first minute, but it was Zidane who got the all important goal after Makelele had split the Barca defence open for his fellow Frenchman to chip over the keeper. Now Barca really had to push for a goal and Rexach replaced Reiziger with Geovanni leaving Abelardo and De Boer, aided when possible by Cocu, to deal with any Madrid counter-attacks. Geovanni was active and indeed nearly scored with a long range effort late on. By then, Christanval had brought some extra pace at the back, replacing Abelardo, and Gabri had taken over from the tiring Motta. There were a number of half chances, not least immediately after the goal, when Luis Enrique’s header went so close to bringing the teams level.
Madrid were always on the look out for a quick break though, and after Guti and Solari had wasted opportunities, up popped McManaman in injury time to pile on the agony. There’s still 90 minutes to go, though, and Barca must hope that they have a bit more luck next week and maybe turn the tie around
Cocu praises fighting spirit
Phillip Cocu spoke to reporters after training this lunchtime and praised the team’s fighting display last night.
“We kept going right till the end, but obviously I can understand the fans being dissapointed with the final result. We’ll be trying hard to pull the tie round in Madrid, but first off, we have to work at making sure we beat Villarreal this weekend. We need to face teh Bernabeu game with the same attitude and try and take our chances.”
“There’ve been games when we’ve had loads of chances and only scored once and others where we’ve had three opportunities and scored three times. Maybe we should have been a bit more cautious towards the end of the game last night, especially when you consider how much quality Madrid have up front, but when you’re pushing for a goal it’s very difficult to change your attitude. Madrid have a lot of players who can score, nearly all of them are capable of getting into the box. We closed them down well until the last 15 minutes when we had to go for a goal ourselves.”
“Luck is part of football and often it’s the difference between victory and defeat. Obviously the fitness of the team, the tactics and the way you choose to play are important too, but so often it’s luck that’s decisive.”
