Raw, uncompromising, and visceral, Skinny Puppy live cannot be called simply a concert. It is an experience. Bootlegged, Broke And In Solvent Seas proves this to be true. Recorded in Warsaw, Bratislava, Hildesheim, and Budapest, this is a documentation of Skinny Puppy in top form. Unlike so many other live albums, there is no editing magic or trickery. These are the songs as they were played: captured from the soundboard and a handheld recorder by Ken ‘Hi-Watt’ Marshall. Ogre’s powerful vocal performances coupled with cEvin Key’s synth modulations and sound manipulations and the machine-precise drums of Justin Bennet make this a stunning testimony to the power of this legendary act.
ohGr will be doing a limited tour of the west coast of the US and Canada this December in support of Undeveloped. As of now there are no plans for further touring. Get there if you at all can!
I type this sitting amidst the furious winds and rains of hurricane Irene battering my window as well as those of everyone else on the east coast of the US. Apparently there are tornadoes touching down a few towns over from me, so hopefully I will get this posted before I lose power or one or more walls. Skinny Puppy's long-awaited new album, Handover, will be released in the US on October 25th and in Europe on October 28th.

With the arrival of a new ohGr album just a few days ahead, we have news of the completion of Skinny Puppy's long-awaited new album. Entitled HanDover, the record was delivered to the label last week. The artwork was once again created by Steven Gilmore. Expect a Fall release. More details, hints, and innuendos to follow.
