Amiatt néztem meg, mert úgy reklámozták, hogy ez az új filmje a Négy esküvő készítőinek. Gondoltam, látni fogok egy jó kis idióta angol vígjátékot, némi romantikával fűszerezve. Hát... ha nincsenek a mellékszereplők, biztos kijövök, így végigültem. Nekem sajnos nem igazán jött be.

Egy kis adalek:

JULIA ROBERTS (Anna Scott)
has starred in many of Hollywood’s most successful films, earning two Academy Award nominations in the process. She first caught the world’s attention with her critically-acclaimed role in Mystic Pizza. This led to her role in the ensemble drama Steel Magnolias. Her next film, Pretty Woman, was the top-grossing film of 1990.
Her memorable performance in Pretty Woman was followed by a series of successful films, including Flatliners, Sleeping With The Enemy, Dying Young, Hook, The Pelican Brief and Something To Talk About.
Roberts also starred with Liam Neeson in Neil Jordan’s Michael Collins and in Woody Allen’s romantic musical comedy Everybody Says I Love You. In 1997 she starred in the box-office smash My Best Friend’s Wedding, directed by P.J. Hogan, and the Richard Donner-directed thriller Conspiracy Theory, co-starring Mel Gibson. Collectively her films have grossed more than $2 billion dollars worldwide.
Most recently she starred opposite Susan Sarandon and Ed Harris in the Chris Columbus film Stepmom. She will next be seen in The Runaway Bride for Paramount, and in Steven Soderbergh’s Erin Brockovich for Universal.

In 1994, HUGH GRANT (William Thacker)
became an international star with his role in Four Weddings and a Funeral, directed by Mike Newell and co-starring Andie MacDowell. His performance earned him a Golden Globe Award and a British Academy Award. In the same year he also starred in Roman Polanski’s Bitter Moon opposite Kristin Scott Thomas, and in Sirens, directed by John Duigan.
Most recently he was seen in the thriller Extreme Measures with Gene Hackman. This was the first feature from Simian Films, the development company Grant and Elizabeth Hurley set up in partnership with Castle Rock Entertainment. The company has several other projects in various stages of development, including Mickey Blue Eyes, starring Grant, Jeanne Tripplehorn and James Caan.
Grant first came to notice in 1982 while at Oxford University, when he made the movie Privileged. But it was the 1987 Merchant-Ivory production of E.M. Forster’s Maurice, where Grant first received international acclaim, as well as the Best Actor Award at the Venice Film Festival.
This led to a succession of roles including The Dawning with Anthony Hopkins, Ken Russell’s The Lair of the White Worm, The Big Man opposite Joanne Whalley-Kilmer and the role of Chopin in James Lapine’s Impromptu. Grant was reunited with director James Ivory in 1993 in The Remains of the Day, starring Anthony Hopkins and Emma Thompson.
In 1995, he appeared as Edward Ferrers in the Oscar-winning adaptation of Jane Austen’s Sense and Sensibility, as the nervous father-to-be in Chris Columbus’ Nine Months, and in the critically-acclaimed The Englishman Who Went up a Hill But Came Down a Mountain, written and directed by Christopher Monger. Grant was also seen in the British comedy An Awfully Big Adventure, directed by Mike Newell, and had a cameo role in the 17th century romp Restoration. His other film credits are White Mischief, Bengali Nights and Rowing in the Wind.
Grant’s television credits include The Changeling and The Trials of Oz, both for the BBC, ABC’s Our Sons with Julie Andrews and Ann-Margret and CBS’ Dangerous Love and Till We Meet Again. On the stage, Grant has worked with director Richard Wilson in An Inspector Calls at Manchester’s Royal Exchange Theatre, and with Richard Digby Day in Lady Windermere’s Fan, Hamlet and Coriolanus at the Nottingham Playhouse.

HUGH BONNEVILLE (Bernie)
made his feature film debut as Schiller in Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein, directed by Kenneth Branagh. This was followed by the James Bond film Tomorrow Never Dies. He will be next be seen as Mr. Rushworth in Mansfield Park, directed by Patricia Roczema.
On television, Bonneville’s many credits include roles in the ITV series Holding The Baby, the Channel 4 drama Mosley, The Man Who Made Husbands Jealous, Bugs, The Vet, Between The Lines, Peak Practice and Cadfael. He will next co-star with Mark Addy in the Talkback/BBC Comedy Too Much Sun.
In addition to roles with the Royal Shakespeare Company, Bonneville’s theatre work includes the title role in the Royal National Theatre production of The Devil’s Disciple,directed by Christopher Morahan, My Night With Reg, directed by Roger Michell and Sam Mendes’ production of Habeas Corpus at the Donmar Warehouse

EMMA CHAMBERS (Honey)
makes her feature film debut in Notting Hill playing William’s zany sister. Later this year Chambers will be seen as Betsy in the feature film The Clandestine Marriage.
She is best known to British audiences for her portrayal of the endearing Alice Tinker in the BBC television series The Vicar of Dibley, written by Richard Curtis, for which she won the 1998 British Comedy Award for Best Actress. Chambers also starred as Charity Pecksniff in the acclaimed BBC production of Martin Chuzzlewit, and in How do You Want Me?, The Mixer, Skullduggery, The Secret Garden and Drop The Dead Donkey.
Her many theatre credits include Tartuffe at the Almeida, Trelawney of the Wells and Invisible Friends at the Royal National Theater and Henceforward in the West End.

RHYS IFANS (Spike)
is soon to be seen opposite Chris Eccleston and Saskia Reeve in Jimmy McGovern’s Heart, with Eileen Walsh in Janice Beard and with Sadie Frost and Joseph Fiennes in Rancid Aluminum. He was most recently seen on the big screen in Twin Town, directed by Kevin Allen and Dancing at Lughnasa opposite Meryl Streep, directed by Pat O’Connor.
His other film roles include Terry Gross’ The Sin Eater, The Deadness of Dad directed by Phillipa Cousins and Sir Anthony Hopkins’ August. His television work includes Trial and Retribution and Judas and the Gimp. His recent theatre work includes Bad Finger for the Donmar and Volpone and Under Milk Wood at the National.

TIM McINNERNY (Max)
has performed with numerous theatre groups, including Glasgow Citizens Theatre, Royal Exchange Manchester, Liverpool Playhouse and Leicester Haymarket. McInnerny was then invited to join the Royal National Theatre for David Hare’s production of Pravda, where he played opposite Anthony Hopkins and starred in the title role in Hamlet.
He subsequently joined the Royal Shakespeare Company for Twelfth Night, Romeo and Juliet and ‘Tis A Pity She’s A Whore. McInnerny also played Frank N Furter in Rocky Horror Show in the West End and most recently spent a year with Sir Peter Hall’s company at the Old Vic. He has also enjoyed conspicuous success on television in three series of Blackadder with Rowan Atkinson for the BBC; the much-admired Edge of Darkness, directed by Martin Campbell; and the controversial A Very British Coup, directed by Mick Jackson.
McInnerny made his feature film debut in Wetherby which starred Vanessa Redgrave and was directed by David Hare and won the Best Film Golden Bear Award at the Berlin Film Festival. This was followed by roles in Erik The Viking (director Terry Jones), Richard III (directed by Richard Loncraine and the recipient of a Best Film Golden Bear Award), Stephen Herek’s 101 Dalmatians, Charles Sturridge’s Fairy Tale: A True Story and Rogue Trader, directed by James Reardon, to be released in September, 1999.

GINA McKEE (Bella)
won Best Actress in both the 1996 BAFTA and BPG Television & Radio Awards for he starring role as Mary Cox in the acclaimed BBC television series Our Friends in the North. Her many other television appearances include The Passion, Mothertime, Beyond Fear, Element of Doubt, Treasure Seekers, Brass Eye, An Actor’s Life For Me and The Lenny Henry Show.
McKee’s feature film credits include Mike Leigh’s highly-praised Naked, Mike Figgis’ The Loss of Sexual Innocence, Mike Hodges’ The Croupier and, most recently, appearances in Michael Winterbottom’s Wonderland and Luc Besson’s Joan of Arc.
She is currently working with Helena Bonham-Carter on the first feature film from Elton John’s Rocket Pictures, Women Talking Dirty.

EGy kaptafa.
Az egyikben a szilikongrafikszszal vonják el a figyelmed a mondanivaló hiányáról, a másikban a jánnyal.
Ha már választani kell akkor szerintem inkább jánnyal vonják el IMHO. :-)

En most lattam a filmet... igazsag szerint azert, mert nem volt mas, es meguntam az olvasast.
Igaz, hogy nem volt szinkronizalva, de valahogy ezzel a filmmel kapcsolatban ezutan ezt nem is tudnam elkepzelni.
Nos, pupákok. En utalom a szentimentalis, konnyu fajsulyu filmeket, de ez a maga mufajaban majdhogynem tokeletes...

Szerintem csak szuk haveri korben. Ahol tudat alatt tudod, hogy meg soxor fogsz azzal a lannyal/fuival talalkozni. Vagy ehhez hasonlo helyzet. En meg nem tapasztaltam, szal lehet hulyesegeket irogatok :)

A filmet nem latta, de szuleim elmentek ra es teljesen oda voltak, nagyon tetszett nekik...pedig az en szuleim aztan kurvara nem jarnak kettesben moziba. Utoljara a Ver szinet neztek asszem :)))

Nos tegnap lattam ezt a filmet . Elegge "megutott":-) . Lehet , hogy vmi baj van velem de
nem ertem , hogy lehet 1-so latasra szerelembe esni . Bar voltam mar szerelmes ,de ilyen nem tortent meg velem... Irjatok mi a velemenyetek a filmrol . Van-e elso latasra szerelem ?!
