Rézzel helyettesíti a vasmagot:
"UPDATE 24-4 20m band conditions are still poor today so rather than further testing, I decided to try something different. As you know, inserting ferrous material, e.g. a ferrite rod, into a coil increases inductance. On the other hand, inserting non ferrous material, e.g. brass or copper into the same coil reduces inductance. With this in mind, I replaced the ferrite rod with a piece of brass rod and the antenna now tunes from 15MHz to just under 18MHz. With some shortening of the telescopic antenna, I could get the antenna to tume on both the 17 and 15m bands. With upper HF band conditions the way they are at the moment, I’m not sure what use this will be, but it was an interesting experiment."
Dave Sunderland tette közzé a Facebook Amateur QRP Radio csoportban:
It was a beautiful day here today so time to try out a new antenna loading coil idea I have had for some time. I wanted a loading coil without taps, sliding contacts etc which I find always corrode. This variable loading coil uses a ferrite rod for tuning and although ferrite can be lossy, I decided to try it anyway. The coil former is a 10ml syringe 90mm long and 16mm diameter. The coil is wound with 0.6mm wire and about 55 turns. The syringe plunger is a tube and a piece of ferrite rod fits this exactly. The telescopic whip is only 60cm long. The first test shows that it tunes between abt 6MHz and 15MHz with an SWR of <1.5:1. Listened around on 40m and found a station in north Italy. Gave him a call and he came back immediately; 750km with 5W SSB; not bad for a first try. I then tuned up on 20m but although the band seemed lively, I couldn't find anyone active. I don't think this will be a problem however since the ferrite is almost completely out of the coil on 14MHz. So it seems that ferrite tuning will work and I will try to tidy the project before further testing.
Biztosan segítenek a nyers méretekben.
R-146-on is Jahta volt rendszeresítve, én ott használtam.
Ezzel a drótantennával Kay Tu Mij - K2MIJ - new yorki rádióamatőr francia QSO-t csinált 20 m-en. :-)) )
"Continuing with my tiny antenna experiments, the fun continues! I pulled out the tiny 20 meter 5 inch "Limbo Stick" antenna, placed it on my usual 15" high bucket in the backyard and figured I'd go hunting and see what I could do in this weekends SKCC Sprint...I was getting much RF into the KX3 and could only run a high of 4 watts before the KX3 would go into solid key down (gonna have to take care of the common mode issues!) I kept the output power at 4 watts and went looking...I heard Bert F6HKA finishing up a sprint QSO and gave him a call when he was done, as usual, Bert and his bionic ears answered me on the first call! Bert gave me a 549 report and he was 589 to me...3604 miles - NY to France - 4 watts from a 5 inch antenna, it doesn't get much more exciting than that! Damn! I guess I didn't have to put them away after all! Sure hoping that this the start of cycle 25..."
Meglett a bűnös, a hűtőszekrény LED világítása. Elgondolkodtató ez a térerő!
