Ez milyen fa, Kannus? (Gyertyán?)
Nyárfa nincs a közelben? Nálunk ma kezdett el szállni a bolyha, pihéje, sikerült is a szememmel elkapni párat.

NYÁRFA TÖVÉN

Szép ez a táj. Ápoltak a kertek:
sort szaporázik a friss vetemény.
Nyárfa tövében írom a verset,
dúdolom halkan: nyárfa tövén...

Nyárfa tövében álmodom álmom...
pisztrángos patakot,
kék tengert,
tarka reményt.
Hervad már virágkoszorúnk,
nem táncol rajta a fény.
Dúdolom mégis: Táncol a fény!
- dúdolom itt a nyárfa tövén.

Nyárfa tövére hullik a könny is,
messziről int egy szürke karó,
kalapján síró verebek ülnek,
hófehér ingét tépi a szél.
Nyárfa tövén, dúdolom én:
Tépje, csak tépje a szél!
