The Snowfield demos are really interesting because of the way the songs changed on their way to the versions we all know (and love) now. For example, "Every Little Piece of Your Life" would later become "Weight of the World". And we also get to hear early takes of "The Diplomat" and "Come Share the View" again.

For the longest time, the "Forest Fire" demos were the holy grail around here. We knew they existed, but we didn't know how to get our grubby paws on them. We tried bribery, extortion and threats of beatings with wet lettuce leaves and we still got nothing. And then, out of the blue, Halina came up with the goods with a story that I couldn't possibly do justice to by trying to describe it here. Bottom line, we have her to thank for these.

Nemtom láttátok-e már ezt a streetview-dolgot az official site-on... Én a google.maps-en is csak pár hete találtam rá az eredetire, és nagyon szórakoztató, pláne, h kicsit ismerem is Londont... :)
Lehet utálni az alábbi kritika szerzőjét, de igaza van abból a szempontból, hogy olyan albumot kellett kiadni, ami nagyobb közönségnek szól, jobban nyereséges lesz. Ennek eszköze az elektronika volt (megfejelve pl a tejosztó remix-el). Így csinálta a Franz Ferdinand is a harmadik lemezzel. Itt a fórumon is látszik, h bejött a dolog (amihez a Sziget is hozzájárult persze).
