"According to Gauss' theorem (also known as Ostrogradsky's theorem), a nonzero divergence of a field is caused, and can be characterized, by a real number called "charge"."
"The boundary conditions for the gluon field are those of the dual color superconductor. The role of such a superconductor is attributed to the physical vacuum of QCD."
"In the dual superconductor picture of the QCD vacuum, chromomagnetic monopoles condense into dual Cooper pairs, causing chromoelectric flux to be squeezed into tubes."
"The origin of the symmetry breaking may be described as an analog to magnetization,"
"How to understand this phase symmetry breaking? For an quantum state, the absolute phase has no impact on any physics observables, because we can shift the phase of all quantum states bysome constant. However, in a BEC state, because there is a huge number of particles on the ground states, the phase of the ground state give usa reference point. Now, we can measure the phase of any excited states by comparing it with the phase of the particles on the ground state. Dueto the existence of this reference point, the system no longer has the U1 symmetry. Here, particles on the ground state pick up a phase, whichis very similar to the ferromagnetic state, where the spin pick up a preferred direction."
Ugye ha a tetrahedron egyszerűen 3 dimenzióban "élne", akkor sima antiferromágnesességről lenne itt szó.
De a helyzet nem ilyen egyszerű. Ugyan szó volt itt valamiféle kijelölt irányról
"Rotating the coordinates so that the second basis vector points in the direction of the Higgs boson makes the vacuum expectation value of"
de a legtöbbször a "preferred phase." kifejezést fogjuk olvasni.
Abelian Higgs mechanism
"In order for the phase of the vacuum to define a gauge, the field must have a phase (also referred to as 'to be charged'). In order for a scalar field Φ to have a phase, it must be complex, or (equivalently) it should contain two fields with a symmetry which rotates them into each other."
lol
Hogy miért?
https://arxiv.org/pdf/1102.4880.pdf "Apart from the 24-cell, these are higher-dimensional analogues of the tetrahedron, cube, octahedron, dodecahedron, and icosahedron"
"U(1) symmetry, is mediated by a single particle, the photon."
A vége lemaradt.
https://arxiv.org/pdf/1201.2281.pdf CHIRALITY AND SYMMETRY BREAKING IN A DISCRETE INTERNAL SPACE in this letter the focus "will be on the so-called symmetric (or alternating) group A4 which is the subgroup of S4 consisting of even permutations of 4 objects. It is isomorphic to the group of proper rotations of a regular tetrahedron, and is therefore a ’chiral’ symmetry (in the sense that it does not contain any inversions or reflections)."
A SU(2) 3 dimenziós nevezetesen a Z -W +W gyenge mértékbozonokkal, és végül a SU(3) a maga 8 dimenziójával, vagyis a 8 féle gluonnal.
Ekkor a 3 szintöltésből kikeverhető a csoport dimenziószáma.
203 "Perhaps the simplest group to describe is U(1), which involves all the rota- tions you can do to a circle that is sitting in a two-dimensional plane. This is a one-dimensional symmetry group, because the rotations are around a single, one-dimensional axis perpendicular to the circle and lying at its center. SU(2) relates to rotations in three dimensions, and SU(3), which is more abstract, very roughly involves rotations in eight dimensions. (The rule of thumb here is that any group SU[n] has a symmetry of dimension n 2 – 1.) The dimensions of the three subgroups are additive, which means that the overall symmetry of the Standard Model is twelve-dimensional (1 + 3 + 8 = 12)."
216 "They are literally part of the force fields, and the number of symmetry dimensions in each gauge field corresponds to the number of particles that communicate the force. Thus the strong force, which is endowed with eight-dimensional SU(3) symmetry, is mediated by eight gluons; the field of the weak force, which is endowed with three-dimen- sional SU(2) symmetry, is mediated by three particles, the W + , W – , and Z bosons; and the electromagnetic field, which is endowed with one-dimensional"
A továbbiakban Balázs javaslatához tartom magam...
Azért hadd kérdezzem meg: most hirtelen min is kellene meglepődni?
A metrika definiciója.
Kuka.
"This is described in the Standard Model through the Higgs mechanism. An analogous phenomenon occurs in superconductivity, which served as the original source of inspiration for Nambu, namely, the photon develops a dynamical mass (expressed as magnetic flux exclusion from a superconductor), cf. the Ginzburg–Landau theory."
Gondolom, a metrika is eltér.
