A tadzsikban a szyínek jelentése, úgy nagyvonalakban: piros: nap, testvériség a világ többi népével, fehér: tisztaság, gyapot, magas hegyek csúcsán lévő hó, jég, zöld: a völgyek zöld színe.
In the 1st century BCE, Strabo ("c." 64 BCE – 24 CE) would note a relationship between the various Iranian peoples and their languages: " [From] beyond the Indus [...] Ariana is extended so as to include some part of Persia, Media, and the north of Bactria and Sogdiana; for these nations speak nearly the same language." ("Geography", 15.2.1-15.2.8 [cite book|last=Hamilton|first=H. C. & W. Falconer|title=The Geography of Strabo.
The Median language (also Medean or Medic) is the language of the Iranian Medes.[1] Together with Gilaki, Mazandarani, Kurdish language, Parthian and Baluchi, the language of the Medes is classified as a northwestern Iranian language. [2]
[edit] Attestation
Median is only attested by numerous loanwords in Old Persian. Nothing is known of its grammar, "but it shares important phonological isoglosses with Avestan, rather than Old Persian." "Under the Median rule [...] Median must to some extent have been the official Iranian language in western Iran."[3]
No documents dating to Median times have been preserved, and it is not known what script these texts might have been in. "So far only one inscription of pre-Achaemenid times (a bronze plaque) has been found on the territory of Media. This is a cuneiform inscription composed in Akkadian, perhaps in the 8th century BCE, but no Median names are mentioned in it." "Some scholars are inclined to assume that the so-called Old Persian cuneiform was in fact Median cuneiform, which later was borrowed by the Persians."[4]
Some modern research suggest that the so-called Linear Elamite—which still has not been deciphered—may have been written in the language of Medes, assuming Kutik-Inshushinak being original Iranian name of Cyaxares, not a much earlier Elamite king[5].
[edit] Identity
A distinction from other ethno-linguistic groups (such as the Persians) is evident primarily in foreign sources, for instance from mid-9th century BCE Assyrian cuneiform sources[6] and from Herodotus' mid-5th century BCE second-hand account of the Perso-Median conflict. It is not known what the native name of the Median language was (this is also true for all other Old Iranian languages), or whether the Medes themselves nominally distinguished it from the languages of other Iranian peoples.
Median is "presumably"[3] a substrate of Old Persian. The Median element is readily identifiable because it did not share in the developments that were particular to Old Persian. Median forms "are found only in personal or geographical names [...] and some are typically from religious vocabulary and so could in principle also be influenced by Avestan." "Sometimes, both Median and Old Persian forms are found, which gave Old Persian a somewhat confusing and inconsistent look: 'horse,' for instance, is [attested in Old Persian as] both asa (OPers.) and aspa (Med.)." [3]
Using comparative phonology of proper names attested in Old Persian, Roland Kent[7] notes several other Old Persian words that appear to be borrowings from Median, for example, taxma, 'brave', as in the proper name Taxmaspada. Diakonoff[8] includes paridaiza, 'paradise'; vazraka, 'great' and xshayathiya, 'royal'. In the mid-5th century BCE, Herodotus (Histories 1.110[9]) noted that spaka is the Median word for a female dog. This term and meaning are preserved in living Iranic languages such as Talyshi.
In the 1st century BCE, Strabo (c. 64 BCE – 24 CE) would note a relationship between the various Iranian peoples and their languages: "[From] beyond the Indus [...] Ariana is extended so as to include some part of Persia, Media, and the north of Bactria and Sogdiana; for these nations speak nearly the same language." (Geography, 15.2.1-15.2.8[10])
Traces of the (later) dialects of Media (not to be confused with the Median language) are preserved in the compositions of the fahlaviyat genre, that is, verse composed in the old dialects of the Pahla/Fahla regions of Iran's northwest.[11] Consequently, these compositions have "certain linguistic affinities" with Parthian, but the surviving specimens (which are from the 9th-18th centuries AD) are much influenced by Persian. For an enumeration of linguistic characteristics and vocabulary "deserving mention," see Tafazzoli 1999. The use of fahla (from Middle Persian pahlaw) to denote Media is attested from late Arsacid times, that is, it reflects the pre-Sassanid use of the word to denote "Parthia," which during Arsacid times included most of Media.
Tribes of Medes which inhabited the north-western parts of modern Iran, are mentioned in Assyrian, Old Persian, Greek sources since the ninth century BC. Beginning about 835 BC the Median tribes became subject intermittently to the kings of Assyria. About 715 BC the Median chieftain Dayaukku, known to the Greek historian Herodotus as Deïoces, led the Medes in an unsuccessful rebellion against the Assyrian king Sargon II (reigned 722-705 BC).
Cyaxares king (r. 625-585 BC) chose as his capital the city of Ecbatana (present-day Hamadan, Iran). In 625 he drove the Scythians out of Media and imposed his rule over the Persians. He attacked the Assyrians next and captured (614 BC) the city of Ashur. In 612, in alliance with the newly independent kingdom of Babylonia, he captured the city of Nineveh and overthrew the Assyrian Empire. Thereafter Cyaxares extended the territory of his kingdom to include all of eastern Anatolia. Cyaxares was succeeded by his son Astyages (r. about 584-c. 550 BC). The Persians, under Cyrus the Great, revolted against him about 550 BC. Joined by a portion of the Median army under a chief named Harpagus, they took Ecbatana and deposed the Median king. From that time Media was politically subservient to Persia; the Persians, however, regarded the Medes as equals, and thenceforth the two peoples were considered as one.
Sorry for lack of material, but there is no written documents in Median preserved. From Old Persian and Assyrian sources we can find some not numerous words, mostly personal names, of Median. These sources gave linguistics a chance to distinguish some characteristic features of phonetics and morphology of the language.
Now we can state that Indo-Iranian *s' / c' > s (while in Old Persian it was u), Indo-Iranian *s'u > Median sp, and *su > f, *tr > vr. But this is the only thing by which we can judge Median was not a dialect, but a single Iranian language.
Hadd kérdezzek én is valamit.

Mindezt szövegesen is leírtam a korábbi bejegyzésekben.
Kedves Harras!
Köszönöm az észrevételt. Megpróbáltam néhány bizonyítékot felsorakoztatni, mivel látom, hogy érdekel a téma.
Nagyon érdekes dolgokat írtok itt a hunokról. De hát nekünk annyi közünk a hunokhoz, mint a Magyar Királyságban a horvátoknak hozzánk.
A soknemzetiségű Hun Birodalom egyik szövetséges nemzete voltunk.
Pallas Nagylexikon:
Média (ó-persa mada, a. m. középső ország), fontos ókori tartomány Belső-Ázsiában, melynek határai voltak északon a Kaspi-tó, keletre Pártusország és Hirkánia, délen Szuziána és Persis, nyugaton Assziria és Örményország. … …
A szanszkrit iratok szerint a médek neve madyar
Azért nem csak a hunokat ismerték Európában:
félelemre pl. a levél illetve a diplomáciai szituáció, ami megelőzte, mind arra utal.
pl. a kor diplomáciai leveleiben stb.
Pl. "a hunok győzedelmes királya" II. Gézára, stb.
(na viszont ez egy érdekes kérdést vet fel, tényleg pl. a mongolokkal kapcsolatos iratokban milyen nevet használhattak a magyarokra, a saját nyelvükön,
ezeket érdemes lenne megvizsgálni eredetiben)
a stílusra:
soha a b... , meg az előttiek is,
elpi...
mik ezek??
