The story mentions Reeds back problems but soon turns to problems of a different sort. It mentions Reeds comments in Metal Edge in which he expressed disappointment about COCs music and lyrics and goes on to report some new comments:
"More than anything, I don't wanna be with C.O.C. anymore. I don't enjoy Pepper's company anymore, although I love Mike and Woody like brothers. But they're all better off now being on the road with somebody who wants to be there. It would make no sense, me schlepping around being unhappy and making them all unhappy, too I'm just kinda disappointed in C.O.C. It's a shame, because the label is really behind the band. I just don't think they made the album they should've made -- God, it's weird to talk about C.O.C. in terms of 'they,' but that's how I feel about things now. I did make a minor contribution to this record, sure. But there wasn't a lot of freedom in the atmosphere. It wasn't a very fun album to make. C.O.C. used to be like the burliest, meanest guy on the block. And now, it kinda reminds me of a wino, sitting outside Mary Lou's Tavern [a local redneck bar], with no teeth screaming at you that he's gonna kick your ass. It's got no teeth anymore, like Raleigh Hatchet. It's become all the things I didn't want it to be. I would love to contribute and still do stuff with those guys, I just don't think they want to do the same kinda stuff I do. I'd want C.O.C. to be a lot heavier, more adventurous lyrically and musically."
The story mentions Reeds new band Brown, describing it as not particularly heavy or adventurous.
"I'm not doing Brown because I wanted C.O.C. to be a pop band," Mullin says. "You can't compare the two. I'm doing Brown now because Custer and Mikey are my best friends, I've always wanted to play with them and this is the funnest thing I've done in my life. We can go in all sorts of different directions with it. It's kinda cool, going back to the old-school D.I.Y. thing again. It's a lot of work, but it's fun. If Brown works out, cool. If not, that's cool, too. But for too long, C.O.C. has not been fun anymore. It's certainly not supposed to be about making money."
Egyetértek Reeddel, ezt mondtuk páran korábban is, a COC-nek nem ilyen lemezt kellett volna készítenie, hanem súlyosabbat, izgalmasabbat.
Remélem, Reed háta rendbe jön és újra dobos lesz valami állat bandában!

Amire már lehetett számítani egy ideje, Reed Mullin dobos kiszállt a C.O.C.-ből:

In the interview he stopped short of calling the last album a sellout. Pepper has declined comment. This sucks as Reed was unbelievable to watch live.

Moseley: FNM után a Cementbe volt, most nem mit csinál.
Drotmalac-manson: Az lehetett az igazi amit supertzarék láttak 96 végén akkoriban erösen kokozott, ötször intenzivebben zúztak. Talán a iskolai lövöldözés miatt, mostanra visszavett magábol, már nem kelt annyira ellenszenvet, megütközést.
Mondom, semleges. Nem zavar, vagy ilyesmi, de nem is tetszik igazán. Úgy tűnik, kiszerettem belőlük. De a régieket most is szívesen hallgatom. Félek azonban, hogy hamarosan meg kell tanulniuk a "majonézzel vagy ketchuppal kéri?" mondatot! :-)))

Laberinto nincs a boltban, sajnos nem is tudom, honnan lehetne szerezni. Nekem sincs itthon, de koncerten nagyon jók voltak.

Led Zep egyes tényleg nagyon jó. Cseppet sem eredeti, de olyan hangulata van. Nekem is az volt az első igazi belépőm a Zep világába - nem '69-ben :-)))

Tzár:Jut eszembe.Chuck Moseley-vel mi lett?Olyan "nyafogó náthás csecsemő" hangot elég nehéz utánozni...jó lenne tudni mi lett vele,ha már a Faith Nyomor Klasszikus lemezén énekelt.
És nem jött még hír,hogy a "klasszikusokat dolgozzunk fel úgy,hogy azok nem is klasszikusok"lemez után kiváló(kitünő,hihihi) delaróka után ki lesz a rézagancs frontkomcsija???aa.

na ja, Dazed and Confused-nal tenyleg nem sok sulyosabb szam van, Communication Breakdown meg How Many More Times is elegge tele van energiaval, de azert van ott egy Your Yime is Gonna Come, az pld. oldja valamennyire a feszultseget, meg az utana kovetkezo szam is, aminek most nem emlekszem a cimere.
Kis töprengés után rájöttem legsúlyosabb albumok a Led zeppelin I és a Rollins band End of silence-e. Lehet mélyre hangolni a gitárt meg gyorsan játszani, zajt csinálni, hörögni, károgni nincs ezekhez fogható energia feszültség, dinamika, erö egyik lemeznél se. Szivesen megnéznék egy fiatal zenekart akik megközelitöleg úgy játszanak mint a Led Zepp. 69ben, Hol van ettöl Rudán Joe és a Coda ? :)
Ami a Laberinto-t illeti, igen, ők voltak 97-ben a Dynamo-n.
Ami pedig a Kovenant-Animatronic lemezismertetőt, ha emlékeim nem csalnak, KBP irt róla, de úgyis itt van supertzar, ha tévednék, tőle biztos infó származik.
