És akkor a magyar meccs külföldi szemszögből,az edzők nyilatkozatával:
BUDAPEST, March 24 (Reuters)(DS) - A rejuvenated Lithuania took
a point off Hungary on Saturday with a 1-1 draw in their group
eight World Cup qualifier.
The first half produced few bright moments on a slippery
pitch, the only real chance coming when Lithuanian keeper
Gintaras Stauce saved from midfielder Vasile Miriuta's 25-metre
curled free-kick in the 44th minute.
Hungary took the lead from a penalty by defender Vilmos
Sebok in the 70th minute after playmaker Bela Illes was brought
down in the area.
Lithuania bounced back immediately and equalised when Tomas
Razanauskas drove home a free kick in the 74th minute wich
took a cruel deflection.
In October Hungary thrashed Lithuania in Kaunas 6-1.
"We are trying to build a new team and I think we surprised
Hungary, who seemed to played overconfidently. No one thought we
could earn a point in Budapest, so we have every reason to
celebrate," Lithuania coach Benjaminas Zelkevicius said after
the game.
Hungary's coach Bertalan Bicskei was disappointed, not with
the way his team played but with the result.
"It was an unlucky game for us. We should have won, at least
by a single goal. Italy won in Bucharest, therefore we almost
have to say goodbye to the hopes of finishing first in the
group," Bicskei said.
Italy, who beat Romania 2-0, are top of the group with 10
points from four games. Hungary are second with five points from
three.
Lithuania have one point from four games.
