Vitantonio Liuzzi "It was nice to finally score a point. However, it was really a shame as we deserved so much more. We had good pace and the team had done a really good job with the set-up. So it was a shame as we should have been in a better position both in quali and in the race, we could easily have run P5 or P6. But we screwed up the pitstop as the car again wouldn’t engage and then when I finally got out, the wrong map was on the car so this cost extra too and I dropped five positions.
The team has worked really hard all week and I’m very grateful to them. It’s been really nice to race here in Berlin with the amazing crowd here. Now we need to work harder to optimise the results as we’re giving away way too many points."
Jarno Trulli "I had a very bad race today. The consumption was sky high already from lap one and I quickly understood that there was little we could do and that the race was be over. What we don’t understand is why my car was consuming so much, when I had exactly the same set-up as Tonio, so clearly there must be something wrong in the car. Despite trying to save more, there was nothing to do but lift off and let everyone pass. So that was it really, race over already after a couple of laps.
The team has worked so hard this weekend and they really deserved a good finish, so I want to thank them, the fans of Berlin, and of course our partner Jihua for their invaluable support. "

Trulli feltámadt: Megvan a pole a Formula-E futamára
A szezonban eddig jórészt feltűnéstelenül szereplő Jarno Trulli a pole-ba juttatta saját csapatának autóját a Formula-E berlini hétvégéjén. Eredményét főként a nagyszerű utolsó szektornak köszönheti.
A Trulli csapat pedig nem kezdte előnyös helyzetben a kvalifikációt, hiszen mindkét pilótájuk, maga Jarno Trulli és Vitantonio Liuzzi is az első csoportban kaptak helyet a sorsolás után, azaz arra az időszakra, amikor elvileg a legpiszkosabb a pálya az időmérő során. Azt viszont már korábban is bizonyították néhányan, hogy ez nem okoz jelentős hátrányt, Trulli pedig azonnal egy olyan köridővel tett le a névjegyét, ami fél másodperccel jobb volt az edzéseken megfutott etalonná.
"A rajttól a pole-ban álló Jarno Trulli még jól jött el, megtartotta első helyét az 1-es kanyarban, a következő előtt azonban elfékezte magát, szélesen fordult, a mögötte lesben álló Lucas di Grassinak pedig nem is kellett több, azonnal betette mellé az Audi Sport Abt autóját és az élre állt. Ugyanebben a kanyarban csapattársa, Daniel Abt megpördült és a mezőny végére került, amivel tönkre is tette versenyét.
Trulli egy ideig tartotta magát a második helyen, di Grassi azonban hatalmas léptekkel húzott el tőle, körönként több mint egy másodpercet adva neki, és így legalább ugyanennyit mindenki másnak is. Az állóvizet a hatodik körben a Trulli mögött haladó Sebastien Buemi zavarta meg, aki a FanBoost egyik birtokosaként ekkor élt is az extra teljesítménnyel, ennek segítségével pedig ő is elment az olasz mellett. Trulli kálváriája ekkor kezdődött: kiesett a ritmusból és szinte kanyarról kanyarra mentek el mellette a riválisok, így nagyon hamar a pontszerző helyeken kívül találta magát."
After late penalties coming through, Jarno Trulli gridded P12 and Vitantonio Liuzzi P15. Just avoiding the massive T1 crash, Trulli managed to gain four positions where Liuzzi was less lucky and got hit from behind and into the crash. Pitstop proved to be Trulli's downfall and saw him fall back to P12. After a rough start Liuzzi managed to finish P14 in the Monaco ePrix.
Vitantonio Liuzzi, P14 "It was a terrible race. We started low in the grid after having some troubles in qualifying including traffic in the Tabac. I was quite confident about the car being well for the race, but it didn't last long. As we slowed down and into the first corner, I got a big hit from behind and got pushed into the car in front of me, breaking the rear wing in the hit. Back in the garage we tried to adjust it, but it was completely bent and we had to replace it. Seeing as it was so early in the race, we had to continue with the first car until the pitstop to both gain some information from the car, but also to be able to finish the race. We had quite a good run with the second car, but the race was already over after the accident in the beginning."

" I made sure to be very careful in the first corner as I knew something would happen there. And it did. I saw cars flying in the air in front of me, but was able to get away without any troubles.
The beginning of the race went really well, we had good energy management, so everything was running smooth and nice in 8th position. Then, at the pitstop, we met trouble as the car wouldn't engage in first gear and we lost so much time and so many places, it ruined our chances of scoring points. The way it ended is very disappointing."
Lucio Cavuto, Team Principal "We had a very good start of the day from both of our drivers. In the race, Jarno managed to overtake four cars, placing himself in 8th position. Tonio was in 12th but was involved in the T1 and T2 accident after being crashed from the back by another driver. This destroyed his back wing, and his race was slowed down by this event as he had to repair, seeing as just changing cars was not possible in order to finish the race.
It's a very disappointing situation for Jarno. He was driving very well in 8th position for the first part of the ePrix, until the pitstop when the car wouldn't engage into first gear and we lost a lot of time and four positions. It's a shame as we really deserved those points, but that's racing and it makes us even more keen for a comeback in the Berlin ePrix and to score points.

A Toyoták első soros remeklése (2009)
Ausztráliában a Brawn GP, Kínában a Red Bull szerezte meg első, egyben kettős győzelmét, Bahreinbe érve már a harmadik csapat miatt reménykedhettünk hasonló változatosságban. A Toyota egész hétvégén impresszív teljesítményt nyújtott, amire az időmérős tarolás tette fel a koronát: Jarno Trulli csapattársának, Timo Glocknak három, Sebastian Vettelnek hat tizedet adott, a futamon azonban kipukkant a piros-fehér lufi. A rajtnál Glock átvette a vezetést, azonban már a 12. körben boxkiállásra kényszerült, ahogyan két fordulóval később Trulli is. Az olasz még úgy-ahogyan tudta tartani az élmezőny tempóját, Timo azonban megszenvedte a lágy keveréken futott etapját, így csak a hetedik helyen ért célba. Az első győzelem nem jött össze, viszont a negyedik futam alatt harmadik dobogós befutását érte el a csapat (3. hely Trulli révén), ami bizakodásra adott okot a szezon további részére. Az eredmény? Még két dobogós hely szezon végén, és vége is lett a japán álomnak…

"Today we used the shakedown to make sure that everything is ok with the cars. My mechanics amended some things already in Miami to be ready and prepared for this race.
It was a smooth session and the track is in good condition. It looks like it will be a quick track and I find it interesting. It's a track with of lot of experience due to it's racing history so it will be fun to give it a go tomorrow.
I hope that this time we will be more lucky and have a good race so that Vitantonio and I both can race for the podium."
Egyre több részlet lát napvilágot a Formula-E történetének második szezonjáról: mint kiderült, a csapatok csak néhány hetet pihenhetnek majd az utolsó futam és az első teszt közt.
Nem sokat pihenhetnek majd az FIA tavaly ősszel elstartolt elektromos sorozata, a Formula-E résztvevői, hiszen másfél hónappal a szezonzárót követően már a következő idényre való felkészülés kezdődik majd. A széria szervezői legújabb hivatalos közleményükben nyilvánosságra hozták a tervezett tesztnaptárat.
Összesen hat napon tesztelhetnek majd a csapatok augusztus 10. és 25. közt, naponta hat órán keresztül. A szezon előtti gyakorlás sokkal fontosabb lesz, mint tavaly, hiszen az első idénytől eltérően a másodikban már szerepet kapnak a különböző gyártók. A tíz csapatot összesen nyolc gyártó látja majd el hajtáslánccal: az Abt, az Andretti, a Mahindra, a Venturi és a Virgin már bizonyosan gyártó is lesz egyúttal, míg a maradék három a NEXTEV TCR, a Renault Sport és a Motomatica lesz - az már biztos, hogy utóbbi látja majd el Jarno Trulli csapatát.
A teszteket a Donington Parkban rendezik, majd szeptemberben indul a sorozat második szezonja, mely 2016 júniusáig tart majd, s a tervek szerint az ideinél kettővel több, összesen 12 várost látogat meg.
A Red Bull eladná a Toro Rossót, gyári Peugeot-istálló, Fujiban a Japán Nagydíj, Schumacher a pole-ban, Alonso futamgyőzelme, s a kérdés: miért nem nyer a Ferrari? Március 20. F1-es hírei 1996 óta.
2005: Fernando Alonso megszerezte karrierje második futamgyőzelmét, miután rajt-cél győzelmet aratott Jarno Trulli előtt, aki a Toyota első dobogós helyét érte el. Harmadik lett Nick Heidfeld a Williamsszel, míg a címvédő Michael Schumacher hetedikként ért célba. A szezonnyitót megnyerő Giancarlo Fisichella versenye Mark Webberrel ütközve idő előtt véget ért.
