Akkor valszeg az egy kisebb helyi csapat. 70-80-ig játszott ott Marco. Ha 70-ben alapították az Fc-t, több utrechti csapatból, vajon hány csapata lehet a városnak?:)) Most nézem Marco a 80-81-es idényt az Elinkwijk Utrechtben töltötte...

Utrecht win 6-3 on aggregate

Utrecht cruised through to the second round of the Uefa Cup on Thursday as they followed up their first-leg win with 3-3 draw in Austria.

In an extraordinary match, Grazer AK took a 3-0 lead in the first half to level the tie at three apiece, only for Utrecht to run away with victory by scoring three goals of their own after the break.

The home side got off to the ideal start when Mario Bazina's deflected shot from 22 yards nestled in the back of the Utrecht net after five minutes.

Roland Brunmayr added a second 14 minutes later after he latched onto a superb pass from Nikola Milinkovic, and suddenly Grazer's task seemed manageable.

The 5,000 home fans were starting to pinch themselves when Benedict Akwuegbu levelled the tie on aggregate seven minutes before the break.

Immediately after the restart, however, Grazer were struck a massive blow when Utrecht striker Dirk Kuyt scored the first away goal of the tie. Kuyt was given the benefit of the doubt by the referee after a physical challenge with Grazer keeper Franz Almer.

The Dutch forward scored his second of the night nine minutes later, before Arco Jochemsen made it 3-3 in the 67th minute.

Grazer's misery continued when midfielder Enrico Kulovits was sent off for his second booking with 20 minutes left on the clock.

Relief as Utrecht break their duck

FC Utrecht breathed a sigh of relief after they collected their first points of the campaign with a 3-1 win against Groningen, only days before they face Grazer AK in the Uefa Cup. "The pressure was building," defender Patrick Zwaanswijk admitted.

Utrecht were desperate for a good result against Groningen, after they lost their first three games on the trot and scored only one goal. Strikes by Jean-Paul de Jong, Dirk Kuijt and Dave van den Bergh finally stopped the rot.

"Personally I didn't feel any extra tension, but obviously the pressure was building. Especially when you come closer to kick-off and they [the fans] make clear that they want to keep the points in Utrecht.

"Also when you watch TV before the game and the chairman and the coach are explaining that the points will start coming then there's a bit more pressure," Zwaanswijk added.

"However, I have to say that the side handled it well. The performance was a bit less than in the other games, but the most important thing is that we have those three points. If we play poorly every match and win them all then I would be a satisfied man."

The win was well-timed as Utrecht face Grazer AK in Thursday's Uefa Cup clash, before Roda arrive at the Nieuw Galgenwaard stadium next Sunday. "If we had lost today it obviously would not have been good for our confidence and it would be a bad sign for the fans.

"We would not have started with a good feeling against Grazer and Roda, who aren't easy opponents. Now we have the feeling that we have turned the corner.

"We started playing and scoring again and we will have to keep that up – perhaps with a little bit better football, as most people expect of us. However, the result is always the most important thing."
