Two years after he first suggested that he’d benefit from a change of scenery, Orioles shortstop Miguel Tejada finally got his wish as he was traded to the Houston Astros today in president of baseball operations Andy MacPhail’s boldest move to date. In return for the four-time All-Star, the Orioles will get outfielder Luke Scott, pitchers Matt Albers, Troy Patton and Dennis Sarfate, and third baseman Michael Costanzo.

En meg azt remelem, hogy nalunk kot ki. A dolgok jelenlegi (kedd este) allasa szerint jo eselyunk van Santana Fenway-be hozatalara. Nem is hangzana rosszul egy ilyen felallas a starting rotation-ban: Beckett, Santana, Matzuka, Schilling, Buchholz v. Wakefield. Talan holnap ilyenkor mar tobbet tudunk.

NASHVILLE -- Andy Pettitte is on his way back to the Bronx.

The 35-year-old left-hander has decided to put off retirement for at least one more year, returning to pitch for the Yankees, according to a report in the Houston Chronicle.

The newspaper reported that Pettitte began telling current teammates over the weekend that he was going to return. Pettitte's agent, Randy Hendricks, then conveyed that to Yankees general manager Brian Cashman.
