The chronology scholars have employed for the Kassite Dynasty of Babylon has changed significantly just over the course of the twentieth century. Even noted Assyriologist J. A. Brinkman changed his mind over a ten year period concerning the dates, order, and names of rulers. One thing it does prove is that the Orthodox Chronology (the OC, also known as the Old Chronology, as opposed to the New Chronology, or NC) has never been as static and inviolable as the New Chronology's critics would have you to believe. |
