Tiamulin. Antibiotikum. Ez van angol nyelven róla:
Tiamulin is active mainly against Mycoplasma spp. and spirochaetes (e.g. Treponema) and also has useful activity against gram positive pathogens such as staphylococci and streptococci, Haemophilus spp. and obligate anaerobes. Gram-negative bacteria in general do not respond to tiamulin or are only moderately sensitive (e.g. Escherichia coli, Klebsiella spp.).
Tiamulin's effective activity against mycoplasmas is one of its most interesting properties and it is generally considered superior to tylosin, spiramycin and tetracyclines in this respect.
Vagyis mycoplasma, spirochéták és gram-pozitív baktériumok ellen hat. Nem jó gram-negatív b-okra általában, vagy csak mérséklelten érzékenyek rá a kóli-b-ok.
A végén azt írja, hogy a mikoplazma ellen felülmúlja a tylosint, spiramycint és tetránt.
