Hirtelen csak az Oxford Advanced Learner's dictionary  akadt a kezembe: ranger 2(US) member of a body of armed mounted men acting as police, eg in thinly populated areas:the Texas Rangers  3 (US) commando. Kerestem még az Operational Terms and Symbolsban, abban nem találtam. Nézzük akkor a commando-t :group of soldiers specially trained for carrying out quick raids in enemy areas. Nem látom sehol a rohamot.
