Koen Daerden set to sign for five seasons

After having agreed with the KRC Genk board on a possible transfer, Director of Sports Marc Degryse has talked with Koen Daerden about joining Club for a five-year long stay today and they have come to an agreement in principle. The 24-year old left midfielder is set to sign a five-year contract at Club, binding him at Jan Breydel until 2011.

Son of ex-international Jos Daerden, Koen has been capped eight times for the Belgian national squad, played 151 games with KRC Genk in first division and managed to hit the nets on 23 occasions.
