There are severe snow storms forecast across the East Coast of the USA, and as a result flights to and from the area will be affected today. The worst affected airports are Boston, New York JFK and Newark. However, some other airports may also see limited snowfalls.

This will cause a delays of up to 24 hours for mail sorted into JFK New York and Chicago offices of exchange, zip codes : NYC : 0, 1, 2, 3, ORD : 4, 5, 6, 7. An update is expected on Friday 10th Feb.

The severe weather conditions continue across the Northern USA, and a number of flights from the UK have been cancelled but most airlines are still flying and carrying our mail.

The worst affected airports remain Boston, New York JFK and Newark although other airports may also see more limited snowfalls.

The previously advised delay of 24 hours is likely to last for another 24 hours, with schedules estimated to return to normal by Monday 13 Feb.
