Janne Ahonen wins Finnish championships

The Finnish Ski Jumping Championships were held on the famous hills in Lahti this weekend.

Best athlete in the men's individual competition on the large hill as Janne Ahonen, who hasn't participated in an international event since last February. The 38-year-old veteran showed jumps of 124 m and 117 m on his home hill and took another national title with a total of 247.2 points.

Jarkko Maeaettae jumped on 123 m and 118 m and finished second with 245.7 points, the third place surprisingly went to Eetu Nousiainen with 117 m and 114.5 m and 225.6 points.
