A lényeg, hogy a tartalék autóban benne hagyták a betiltott kütyüt, amit először illegálisnak mindősítettek, majd a versenybírák ezt felülbírálták:
A statement issued by the stewards on Friday morning said: "the use of such mass dampers must be considered as permissible."
The stewards cited that there was no specific Technical Regulation that outlawed their use.
There had also been supplied with data, believed to have prepared by Renault, which showed mass dampers did not impact on aerodynamic performance. Renault have subsequently put the device back on their car ahead of this morning's opening practice session.
Alonso said: "At the moment I think last year was tougher than this year. The last seven races of last year I had the McLaren, which was around half a second quicker than us at every Grand Prix and it was impossible to beat them."
Raikkonen won seven races in 2006 - the same number as Alonso - but suffered terrible reliability all season, meaning Alonso wrapped up the title with three races to go and ended the season 22 points clear.
And the Spaniard claimed race wins are easier to come by this year. He added: "Only when they (McLaren) had mechanical problems we won the races. If not, we finished second.
"This year, with Ferrari, some races we win, some races they win because of the tyres, so it is much more equal. But they don't have mechanical problems, so they don't give points away."
"My manager has spoken with Renault," Raikkonen said at a Mercedes museum in Stuttgart earlier this week.
Raikkonen, though, insists that he has not yet made up his mind.
"There is no deadline," he confirmed, also refusing to rule out staying with McLaren.
"I can make up my mind when I want. There are many reasons for me to change (teams), and also many reasons for me to stay. "
Azért arra kiváncsi vagyok mi az a many reason to stay a mekinél? csak a sétáló jános unlimited-re tudok gondolni, úgyhogy don-nak gyorsan kell keresni egy piás szponzort, mondjuk a bacardi-t?:)
Miért, most őszintén, ez, meg az öccse szebb volt?
Amúgy viszont egyetértek veled, tényleg iszonyat ronda volt, és ott mér lehetette alapja is annak, hogy nem lát, mert hogy állapítsa meg szegény de la Rosa/Bernoldi/Verstappen, hogy most feltegye-e az esőgumit, vagy maradjon el az inter... Ha már a juvét kizárták... jajj, ez de szar volt. És amúgy sem gondoltam ezt úgy, nehogymá vki leugasson, hogy nem is úgy van, hanem...! :)
A vicces tudod az, hogy az FIA kezdi felismerni, hogy jelenlegi dögunalom ellen csak a kiegyenlítés mesterséges technikáival tudnak fellépni, ez pedig az F1-es koncepció csődje. Magyarul: jelenleg nem lehet lebonyolítani a gyártók, a technika versengését úgy, hogy az ne az élvezhetőség rovására mennyen.
Még jó, hogy az F1 az egyetlen ilyen széria... nem is lennék autóverseny rajongó, ha csak az F1 létezne. :)
