Legalabb csinalhatnank valami masik telefonos app-ot is, amibe a landlord/agency/munkaado beuto a settled citizen kodjat, es az megmondja par masodpercen belul hogy illeto jogosult-e... Ha mar nem akarnak fizikai dokumentumot kiadni (ami egyebkent erthetetlen hogy miert nem, talán kifogyott a papir?)...
Residential Landlords Association calls for hard copy documents for EU citizens
Landlords have said that EU citizens living in the UK are at risk of facing some of the same difficulties caused for the Windrush generation by a lack of legal certainty around their status after Brexit.
The Residential Landlords Association (RLA), which represents more than 30,000 landlords in the UK, has written to the home secretary, Sajid Javid, demanding that EU citizens are provided with a hard copy document to prove their status to avoid confusion over their right to rent in the UK.
Under the right to rent rules of Theresa May’s hostile environment policy, landlords are required to check the immigration status of potential tenants or risk prosecution.
The Home Office has suggested it will send successful applicants a digital code to present to employers and landlords as evidence of settled status.
But the RLA says there is already evidence that landlords are not renting to those who cannot easily prove their status with a single clear document such as a passport – in echoes of the Windrush scandal that saw people with Caribbean backgrounds deported, as well as refused jobs, houses and healthcare.
The letter, signed by the RLA policy director, David Smith, and Nicolas Hatton, the chief executive of the3million grassroots movement for EU citizens in the UK, reads: “Without issuing a clear and understandable hard copy document to those whose rights would be protected, there is a very real danger of a repeat of the difficulties caused for many in the Windrush generation who were in the country legally but unable to easily prove it.
“Such a document must be issued now so that, as tenancies come up for renewal between now and next March, landlords can be confident that they can continue to let to EU citizens, even in the event of a no-deal Brexit.”
The Brexit select committee, chaired by Hillary Benn, has previously highlighted similar concerns with the digital code system.
In a report the committee said: “We are concerned that the Home Office is introducing a new system on a large scale, which relies upon employers, or landlords, understanding and embracing a new way of working.
“This might work well for many, but for some the risk of a civil penalty for employing or renting to someone without the correct immigration status, and a lack of understanding of the new system, may deter them from employing or renting to EU citizens, or create difficulties in enabling their status in other circumstances to be confirmed. We call on the government to issue a physical document to EU citizens.”
Egyebkent tobb jogvedo szervezet aggalyat fejezte ki az ugyben. Mi lesz a vulnerable (idosek, fogyatekkal elok stb.) EU allampolgarokkal akikhez nem jut el az info (nem neznek hireket, nem hasznalnak internetet), vagy eljut de nem tudjak ertelmezni / mihez kezdeni vele stb. Egyszer csak kitoloncoljak oket a szuletesi orszagukba, ahol esetleg mar sok evtizede nem jartak, talan mar a nyelvet se nagyon beszelik, es ahol lehet hogy nincs semmilyen hozzatartozojuk? Leszallnak a tolonc-repulorol, aztan alszanak a repteren onnatol kezdve?

Viszont az egy erdekes kerdes, hogy mi van ha valaki mar eleve dolgozik x helyen es lakik y alberletben amikor eljon a hatarido es nem igenyelte / nem igenyli meg a settled statuszt. Ketlem hogy a munkahelyen vagy a landlord/letting agency havonta ellenorizgetne, hogy az illetonek még mindig van-e jogosultsaga dolgozni/berelni.
Az is erdekes kerdes, hogy mi van azzal aki nem akar dolgozni es/vagy benefitet igenyelni, es van itt sajat ingatlanja (mondjuk gazdag az illeto, nincs raszorulva penzkeresetre / mas orszagban van beveteli forrasa / stb.) es nem csinalja meg/elfelejti a Settled Status igenylest. Arra nem kenyszerithetik hogy az ingatlanjat eladja. Es az se valoszinu, hogy jonne a hatosag hazkutatasi paranccsal (mert anelkul nem mehetnek be az ingatlanba ha a tulaj nem engedi be oket onszantabol) es kirancigalnak az illetot a hazabol...
Aztan mi van azzal, aki vett egy hazat mortgage-ra, de valamilyen okbol fogva nem csinalja meg a status igenylest/valamiert nem jogosult ra. A bank ellenorizgeti havonta hogy jogosult-e meg itt elni, es amint nem eladja a feje folul a hazat?

Ja, a ruhak, en is igy latom. Zoknik 1-2 honapot birnak. Nadragok 1 even belul elkopnak (sokszor a teljes atlyukadasig). A cipok max 2 evet birnak ki, de ha gyaloglok bennuk akkor altalaban 600-800 km kornyeken annyi nekik, van amelyik meg 500-at se nagyon birja ki. Anno 90-es evekben mas volt. Volt olyan nadragom ami 10 ev utan is majdnem ujszeru volt. Olyan cipom amiben 7 evig gyalogoltam. Stb.

Nem szeretem a vedd meg/dobd ki policy-t. Foleg nem ruhakban. Van olyan polom ami tobb, mint 14 eves es meg tokeletes allapotban van. A legtobb most vett visoznt 5-8 alkalom utan szoszoszodik.

Van 15eFt-s Bluetooth full size extra bass fejhallgatóm. Xar a hangja, súg, szakadozik a kapcsolat. Se valóban tud mély hangokat. És többnyire működik is. Vennék még egyszer? Ötezerért sem... 😁
Vettem ma új telót, szarakodott már az S4 mini. Sony XZ1 Compact lett, csak ez a gyártó csinál már ilyen kisebb méretű, de erős gépet. 4.6"-os, alig nagyobb, mint a Sami. Vmikor tavaly jött ki, de azóta lett még újabb (XZ2 Compact), s az nem is tecc, mert 5"-os.. Viszont az utódlás miatt az ár lement 180E-ről 120-ra, azt már nettóban hajlandó voltm kiköhögni érte. :-)
Miközben fizettem, pont ráláttam a fejhallgatós polcra, 15E-ért már hiper-szuper, megabass-osak voltak.. :-)
